Seminar Series: Jeffrey Swanson (Spring 2026)
Dr. Jeffrey Swanson from Duke University School of Medicine will be joining the Brody Center in May and presenting on “Mental illness, gun violence and the law: Balancing risk and rights for effective policy.”
Special Lecture: Kathryn Paige Harden, PhD
Dr. Kathryn Paige Harden from the University of Texas at Austin is giving a special lecture on her recent book, “Original Sin: The Genetics of Vice, the Problem of Blame, and the Future of Forgiveness.”
Seminar Series: Mark Hatzenbuehler (Spring 2026)
The final Brody Center seminar speaker for the spring semester will be Dr. Mark Hatzenbuehler from Harvard University, who will be presenting on “Stigma and Population Mental Health: A Multi-level, Multidisciplinary Approach.”

In April, Dr. Elizabeth Stuart from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will be presenting on “Combining randomized trial and electronic health record data to understand treatment effect heterogeneity: Promises and pitfalls.”
